The Hawks lost to the Suns on Wednesday in another close game 107-109. The Suns and Hawks battled throughout the first quarter then Brandon Knight came in and had an immediate impact. He quickly led the Suns to a 9-point lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter the Suns continued their success and kept the lead for the rest of the quarter but the Hawks were able to cut their lead down to 2 with a strong performance from Tim Hardaway Jr. and the Hawks were down 50-48 at halftime.

The second was a close affair from both teams. They both were neck and neck until Leandro Barbosa came off the bench and scored a quick 8 points and the Suns jumped up to a 10-point lead. The Hawks' PG Dennis Schroder had a very good outing and was able to help the Hawks comeback to cut it to a 1-point lead with 2 minutes left. Sadly they were able to pull away with some clutch baskets from Eric Bledsoe. The Suns did end up winning 109-107. Dennis Schroder had a monster game and career high in points by scoring 31 points. He is the 6th Hawk to score 30 points in the last two seasons. The Suns leading scorer was Brandon Knight off the bench, who went for 23. Hopefully when the Hawks return home on Friday against the Pistons they can get back to their winning ways.
