The Hawks went into Phillips Arena with a 2-game win streak and they lost it in a 131-120 lose to the Magic. The game started off with the Hawks and Magic battling and the Magic managed to take the lead. The Magic were shooting lights out and forcing turnovers. They also didn't have a turnover for a lot of the 1st half. Both teams had high-scoring offenses in the 1st half. The score was 72-62 in the Magic's favor. The Hawks defense had an awful game and they looked very lazy.

The Hawks came out of the second half like they did in the 1st quarter as they quickly fought back and were able to take the lead. Sadly, Elfrid Payton came back in the game and they immediately took the lead back and didn't look back. The Hawks were never able to answer again and they took the loss. The Magic had 4 players that really lit them up and those players were Elfrid Payton (26 pts and 14 assists), Evan Fournier (23 pts), Jodie Meeks (20 pts, 4-6 from 3), and finally Serge Ibaka (29 pts). These players killed the Hawks defensively. They were able to hit threes and they were able to get more stops than the Hawks. The Hawks look to get revenge in Toronto after they got blown out in their last trip to Toronto.
