The Hawks lost Monday night against the Thunder 102-99. The Hawks went into the game on a 6-game losing streak. The Hawks decided it was time for a lineup change and started Thabo Sefolosha over Kyle Korver. Paul Millsap also returned to the starting lineup after being out with an injury. The game started off fairly smooth and the first quarter ended with the Thunder winning 23-21. The Thunder would get things going and would take a 10-point lead in the second quarter. The Hawks would fight back and make it a 1-point game at halftime. The Thunder were still leading 55-54 at halftime.

Russell Westbrook was held to just 5 points in the 1st half but in the third quarter he exploded. The Triple-Double Machine would score 16 points in the 3rd quarter. The Thunder would get to a 15-point lead. The Hawks were outscored by Russell Westbrook in third quarter. It was the ugliest quarter the Hawks had all night. In the 4th quarter The Hawks battled all the way to make it 3-point game with 9 seconds left. What happened next seemed similar to seeing Jeff Teague hold the ball for an awful "game-winning" shot. THJ fumbled the ball, after trying to turn the corner and score a layup, and took it back then tried to fire up a contested 3-pointer. The Hawks losing streak continues at 7. This team needs a win desperately. Hopefully with Miami coming in Phillips Arena on Wednesday the Hawks can find a way to win.
