The Hawks could never get it together as they were without their best player, Paul Millsap. The Pistons came out firing and they tied a franchise-record for three pointers made as they shot 59% on 17-29. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 20 points by halftime as they were up by 22 on the Hawks at halftime. They continued their shooting clinic on the Hawks in the second half as well. The Hawks actually benched their starters for the start of the second half. This game was never close and Hawks had their largest margin of defeat under Coach Bud. Dennis Schroder finished with 17 points and 11 assists. KCP ended with 23 points and Drummond had 14 points with 14 rebounds. The Hawks desperately need a win.
