The Hawks have had a very strange Free Agency Period. They have had a good job signing very reasonable contracts and not over paying anyone. They re-signed Mike Muscala to very good contract as a 2-year 10 million dollar deal. They also re-signed Ersan Ilyasova with a 1-year 6 million dollar deal. The Hawks also signed Dewayne Dedmon to a 2-year 14 million dollar deal. Dedmon is center that spent last year with the San Antonio Spurs, where he was very good. He won't be a season changing pickup but he will be a solid piece to add. The Hawks did have three team trade with the Nuggets and the Clippers. The Hawks received Jamal Crawford, who has reached a buyout agreement with ATL, Diamond Stone, and a 1st-Rd Pick (via Rockets). The Hawks did lose very vital pieces as Thabo Sefolosha (Signed with the Jazz), Tim Hardaway Jr. (Overpaid by the Knicks), and most importantly, Paul Millsap (Signed with the Nuggets). They will all be missed as Millsap was the last starter from that great 60-win team. The Hawks roster right now is pretty rough as they are most likely rebuilding this season.
