The Hawks played the T' Wolves in Phillips Arena and they walked away with another home lost. They have lost the last 5 of 6 at home after starting the season 6-1 at home. The Hawks started off slow and they were getting dominated by the Minnesota big men. Atlanta missed Dwight Howard, who again was out due to back tightness. The Hawks would come back and they would keep the game close. They would close out the quarter and the Timberwolves were winning 28-26. In the second quarter the game remained close and Minnesota kept their lead at halftime 49-44.

The Hawks and Timberwolves went back and fourth in the 3rd quarter. The Hawks would hold a lead after the 3rd quarter and they would be winning 69-67. The Timberwolves would play a very average 4th quarter while the Hawks would have their offense get cold, which has been a reoccuring theme this season. The Hawks would get flat and Dennis Schroder was the only player making plays. Dennis Schroder finished with 21 points and 7 assists. The Hawks look to bounce back against the Nuggets.
