The Hawks came back home after a win in Toronto. They faced the Charlotte Hornets. Both teams were on a back-to-back. Charlotte lost against Boston the night before but they were without Kemba Walker (Personal Reasons). The Hawks started off fairly strong with some early buckets from Tim Hardaway Jr. The game looked like Atlanta was going to keep it at a fair length and they were going to win. The Hornets would make sure that would not be the case.  The Hornets would not let that happen as they wold take back the lead and the game was tied at halftime. The Hawks would get cold on offense as the Hornets jumped to a lead. The Hornets would keep that lead going into halftime as they were winning 53-42.

The Hawks came out cold again and they went down 15 points. They were able to fight and actually take the lead in the 4th quarter but Charlotte came back with Marco Belinelli clutch 3-pointers. The Hawks would fight again and it would be a 2-point lead for Charlotte. The Hawks had to play defense but Paul Millsap took a gamble with a steal but he didn't get it and Kemba Walker passed it to a wide-open Marvin Williams three. He knocked it down and it turned out to be the dagger. The Hawks lost this one in a sad way. They hope to bounce back against the Thunder on Monday night. THJ lead the Hawks with 21 points as Marco Belinelli and Marvin Williams had 19 points for the Hornets
