The Hawks have been very hot lately as they have clinched their 10th straight playoff berth. The Hawks started off their winning ways recently by beating the Celtics in a great game by Taurean Prince, who scored 20, and Paul Millsap, who scored 26 points. The Hawks would win the next night by beating the Cavs while all 5 starters were hurt or resting. The Hawks bench managed to put together a great game in both effort and execution as they would win the game in a shocking upset. Tim Hardaway Jr. was solid as he scored 22 points with 15 of those coming in the final period. Mike Dunleavy also had a good game with 20 points. The next win was the most exciting, shocking win of the year as the Hawks came back from down 26 points as the Cavaliers coasted and began to let the Hawks get back in the game. The Hawks managed to shock LeBron and co. and picked up this win. Paul Millsap hit the game-tying shot to force OT and he would go on to finish with 22 points. THJ had 20 points and Mike Muscala had two very clutch three-pointers. The Hawks clinched the 5 seed on Tuesday night as the Hawks crushed the Hornets and the Hawks will face the Washington Wizards. I will try to preview the NBA playoffs with a podcast but expect an article if I am not able to get a podcast out.
