The Pacers finally gave up their superstar Paul George. In a trade with Oklahoma City, the Pacers gave up George for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. This trade will set back the franchise, but they can hope to get a good spot in the draft in order to find a PG to pair with a solid young duo of Oladipo and Myles Turner.  They are very young and have a couple of other veterans. The Pacers are in a similar situation as the Hawks with a sense that they were in the Eastern Conference Finals and now they see themselves rebuilding. This is what I see their starting lineup looking like.

PG: Darren Collison
SG: Victor Oladipo
SF: Bojan Bogdanovic
PF: Thadeus Young
C: Myles Turner

6th Man: Glenn Robinson III

The Pacers biggest need as of right now is a franchise PG. The point guard position is vital to every team. Darren Collison is not bad, but he is getting older and is not a cornerstone PG for a franchise. If Collison struggles you can expect to see backup PG Cory Joseph earn the starting PG spot. The SG position is held down by Oladipo. Oladpio has shown flashes of being a great player but he always tends to get hurt or he will struggle to stay consistent in his play. The SF will most likely be newly signed player Bojan Bogdanovic. He was overpaid, to me, in free agency similar to the way Tim Hardaway Jr. was. He should provide great offense bit little to no defense. He will be in a position battle with Glenn Robinson III. The PF position will be Thadeus Young unless the young big men, like T.J. Leaf and Domantas Sabonis, take the job from him. The center spot is completely Myles Turner's. He is a young stud and one of my favorite young guys. He should be the center piece of the franchise going forward. The Pacers are not going to be very good but they have some pieces in place that can lead to long term success.
