The Philadelphia 76ers have been trusting the process for three years now and it is about time that they started seeing the results. The Sixers have a young core of Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz, and Joel Embiid. Embiid has been an injury concern, but he is one of the best young centers whenever he is playing. Ben Simmons has yet to see anytime on the court along with his fellow rookie Fultz. The Sixers signed a true shooting guard in J.J. Redick. The addition of Redick is a good one that can help the young Sixers. The team hopes that they can make the playoffs, but I do not believe that is too realistic. This is my projected starting lineup for them.

PG: Markelle Fultz
SG: J.J Redick
SF: Ben Simmons
PF: Dario Saric
C: Joel Embiid

6th Man: Robert Covington

The PG position is where rookie Markelle Fultz is right now. In time we could see him move, but I believe that he will be there for the considerable future. He is one of the best scorers in his draft class and he should be their rock at PG. The backup is T.J. McConnell. The SG is J.J. Redick. Redick signed from the Clippers and will provide some much needed threes. The backup is most likely going to be Nik Stauskas, but you can expect to see Justin Anderson play that spot as well. The starting SF is Ben Simmons. The former number one overall pick will make his debut this year. He has been compared to LeBron and he has incredible court vision for a forward. Robert Covington will be his backup and primary scorer off the bench. He is a the second best shooter on the team and will hopefully provide a good spark off the bench. The PF spot will be Dario Saric. He was a stud last year and should have won rookie of the year. The center will be Joel Embiid and I described him earlier. The big intrigue is the backup center position. The backup center will be Richaun Holmes, who was very good at the end of last year. The issue is they still have former number two overall pick Jahlil Okafor. He is ultimately a bust. He is great in the post but outside of that he is not very good. The Sixers will barley miss out on the playoffs but that have many young players.
