![]() By: Lucas Kochevar The Falcons managed to beat the Seahawks to advance to the NFC Championship. The Seahawks came out with a long drive that was very rough and it looked worrisome in the Dome. Atlanta would answer though with a strong drive of their own and they would answer. The Seahwaks would get a long punt return a couple of possessions later but it was negated by a holding penalty. It would get them back to their own 7 and the Falcons would drive them back for a safety. Atlanta would get a FG on their next possession and they would be leading Seattle 12-10. Atlanta would keep their lead from that point on as they would score another TD and they would be leading 26-10. The dagger would be delivered in the fourth quarter with a TD pass to Mohammed Sanu and the final score from there was 36-20. The Falcons will play their final game, and biggest game. in the Georgia Dome against the Packers. The Falcons beat Green Bay 33-32 in week 8. Let's hope that they can do the same and advance to the Super Bowl.

What do you think of Dashaun Watson, the Clemson quarterback, being chosen 36th for the NFL draft by Mel Kiper. Seems Kiper is the ESPN guru doesn't think he's got the moxie or the arm for the NFL. What's your take on this one?

I think he is wrong in the fact that Deshaun Watson has proven he can play in big games. For example, the Oklahoma playoff game two years ago and then the last two playoff games. He doesn't have a great arm but he makes up for it in his running ability. I can see him going in the end of the 1st round to a team like the Texans or maybe the Chiefs.

Latest list on draft players now shows Watson at 25. Your guess of the Texans or Chiefs could be pretty close. Leave a Reply. |
