Atlanta Hawks are sitting on 8-2 record after 10 games and it feels like everyone is clicking even with the major changes. The dynamics have changed and it has resulted in a positive way. Dennis is making sure people aren't doubting him and he has made sure everyone is getting involved. Kyle Korver is shooting like he was 2 years ago and Bazemore is making his new 4-year 70 million dollar deal worth it. Millsap is Millsap. He's putting together another all-star season and is still, without a doubt, the best player on the Hawks. Lastly, Dwight Howard is looking like his old self. He isn't producing at the level he was before but he is clearly having an impact on the defensive end and on rebounding. On the bench, Malcom Delaney is having a good, solid season as the backup PG. Tim Hardaway JR. is the most improved player off the bench. He is still a very streaky shooter but he showing the right tools to become a very scary offensive threat off the bench. Thabo is looking improved and is still the great defender from last season. Another surprise has been Mike Muscala. It was known that he was in the gym working on his game but no one knew that he would comeback like he has. He has been a very efficient big man. The best part is that we will still have good weapons off the bench that haven't recovered from injuries, for example, Mike Scott and Tiago Splitter. Moose might have taken Mike Scott's job but when Tiago comes back it should be Muscala at PF and Tiago at C. Both are good offensive players and they are solid defensive players also. Hopefully the Hawks can stay at this high level and continue to win. If they can win at a good rate I can see the Hawks return to the ECF and play against the Cavaliers. Sadly, the Hawks have only one notable win against the Cavs. If they want to be taken seriously they will need to keep winning and win against the better teams in each conference.
