The Falcons came into this game as one of the two undefeated teams left in the league. Buffalo was coming off a win against the Broncos. The Bills were playing stellar  football since the start of the year. The game started with Atlanta striking first with a field goal from Matt Ryan. The Bills scored a touchdown from a beautiful dime by Tyrod Taylor. Atlanta answered at the end of the second quarter with a nine play drive. The drive ended with a Devonta Freeman rushing touchdown. Atlanta was winning at halftime 10-7. The Falcons lost both Mohammad Sanu and Julio Jones to injury at the half.

The third quarter was uneventful until Matt Ryan was hit and he "fumbled" I personally do not believe that he fumbled because his arm was clearly going forward. This is when the tables turned and Buffalo was winning 14-10. After some stops and field goals the Falcons lost the game 23-17. The Falcons looked like a mess in the game as they struggled in coverage and there were many missed tackles. The Falcons clearly missed Vic Beasley as they had little to no pass rush. The Falcons missed their top two wideouts as the players were either dropping the ball or Matt Ryan was throwing it to where Julio or Sanu could only catch the ball. The Falcons will need to play sharper in the weeks to come. Next week they have a bye week and hopefu;;y they can recover and get healthy.
