By: Lucas Kochevar The Falcons played the Green Bay Packers on Sunday with a 44-21 win. The Falcons are playing in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1999. The Falcons started off with the ball as Green Bay differed the ball until the second half. They made a mistake with that decision. Atlanta drove all the way down the field and Mohammed Sanu caught the 2-yard TD pass. Green bay got the ball and drove to around the 30-yard line. After a key Deion Jones blitz on 3rd down, Mason Crosby missed the FG. Atlanta got the ball back and they would go and score a FG. the score was already 10-0. On the next Packers possession they once again put together a good drive but they turned the ball over again after jalen Collins forced a fumble. Atlanta would take the ball down and score again and they would be leading 17-0. Green Bay was forced to punt the ball and Atlanta, once again, drove the field and hit Julio with a quick pass with 3 seconds left in the half. Who would have thought Atlanta would be shutting out Aaron Rodgers 24-0. The second half had Green Bay score their first TD of the game with 9 minutes left in the third quarter. Atlanta would respond again and they hit Julio with a crossing route and he did the rest. He would take it 73 yards for the TD. Atlanta would extend their lead to 37-7. Green Bay scored again and converted on the 2-point conversion. The score was 37-15 at this point. Atlanta really need one more score to put the dagger in the Packers and they did just that with a Tevin Coleman rushing TD. Green Bay would score one last TD to Jordy Nelson and that would be it. Atlanta would go on to win 44-21. The Atlanta Falcons are Super Bowl Bound! Julio Jones finished with 9 receptions and 180 yards along with 2 TD's. His toe injury looked fine to me. Matty Ice finished with 392 yards and 5 total TD's. If the game was close he could have exceeded 400 yards easily. The Falcons will go on to play the Patriots in Super Bowl LI

I have been traveling a lot here in the Northeast (NY,,,etc) and there is NO respect for Falcons here in the press. It looks to them like it's in the bag for Brady and NE. I hope Quinn and the boys really let them have it!!!

This will be one of the tightest bowls so fare. I hope the rest will be good for the birds and everyone stays healthy.I had NE going all the way but I think I'm going to change and go with the Falcons.

If Matt Ryan and Julio Jones can keep up what they have been doing for the whole season, then NE has no chance on stopping that duo. The key to stopping Brady is to keep hitting him and he'll fold. I think it will be a very close game.

It's S--- or get off the pot time now. The birds have to get off to a fast lead and hold it. Watch for trick plays where they put the tackle on the left side as a receiver,if Brady calls ""RAVEN" you know it's commin .GOOD LUCK ATLANTA
