The Falcons entered the game Sunday looking for answers to why their offense has been struggling and why the defense was not forcing turnovers. The Falcons still struggled, but they eventually did pull it together. The Falcons showed flashes of last year, but they still turned the ball over on fumbled snaps in the poor weather. The defense had some bad plays that would lead to Jets touchdowns, but overall they did a great job containing the Jets as they were in Falcons territory for a majority of the game.

The stars of the game had to be Mohamed Sanu/Tevin Coleman and Vic Beasley/Tak McKinely. Sanu had several good catches including a touchdown in the back of the endzone. Coleman had many big runs on Sunday. He had a huge run in the second half that would set up an Atlanta score. Vic and Tak both came off the edge and provided some great pressure that forced McCown to either take a sack or throw the ball away.

The Falcons are finally done with their games against AFC East opponents. They finish with a record of 1-3 against these teams. The Falcons will start playing their division this Sunday as they face off against the Carolina Panthers. Atlanta still needs to work hard as they still do not look like the same team from last year.

It’s about time Falcons!!! Finally divisional play beginning. Anything on the trading deadline??? I know the Eagles made a trade for that Miami RB for a draft pick....could be a solid pick-up. What do you think over there at LKSports?
